How to reach
By road
From Delhi or Chandigarh, take the Manali highway to the Aut tunnel. Exit just before the tunnel and follow the Banjar road to Gushaini (about an hour). We're on the Pekhri road just above the village.
By bus
Overnight Volvos from Delhi to Manali stop at Aut. From Aut, local buses and taxis run to Banjar and Gushaini through the day. Tell us your arrival time — we'll help arrange a pickup.
By air
The nearest airport is Bhuntar (Kullu–Manali), roughly 50 km away — about a two-hour taxi ride into the valley. Chandigarh is the nearest big airport for more flight options.

When is the best time to visit?
The valley is lovely year-round: March–June for green meadows and fishing, September–November for clear skies and treks, December–February for snow and quiet. July–August brings monsoon rain — beautiful, but check road conditions with us first.
Is there mobile network and Wi-Fi?
Jio and Airtel work in and around Gushaini, though signal fades on treks. The homestay Wi-Fi is reliable enough for video calls — remote workers stay with us regularly.
How are the roads?
The road from Aut to Gushaini is paved; the last stretch on the Pekhri road is a narrow mountain road, fine for any car driven patiently. Message us for current conditions in winter or monsoon.
What are check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is 3:00 – 6:00 PM and check-out 8:00 – 11:00 AM. Let us know your expected arrival time in advance — the road deserves daylight, and we'll keep chai ready.
Can we bring our pet?
Yes — pets are welcome (a small charge may apply). Tell us when you book so we can set things up.
Are children welcome? Extra beds?
Children of any age are welcome, and there's an indoor play area. An extra bed is available on request at ₹800 per person per night; we don't have cots.
Can I smoke at the property?
The property is non-smoking indoors. The terrace and bonfire have you covered for fresh-air evenings.
